Hey everyone!
This has been a great, relaxing weekend.
Hope yours has been the same, whatever it is you've been doing!
Friday after work, I ran some errands, went for a run around the neighborhood, made some dinner, potted some herbs...
...and went to be at 10:30!
I lead an exciting life.
Don't get too jealous.
Saturday, I went for a morning run; then my mom and I went to a baby shower for one of my best friends growing up.

Love you, Tiff (and Wyatt!)
Then I met my dad at his workshop and we made the fun wall wine rack:
unpainted..
And some ladder shelves that we saw in Pottery Barn:
unpainted as well...that's next weekend!
Today I visited Elevation with my friend Kristi (oh hey, Kristi!)

The music was incredible and the guest speaker was so so great!

Her name is Lysa TerKeurst. She spoke on how our reactions to life are just as important as our actions. She read from 2 Chronicles 20; and talked about some of her own life experiences, including the story of when she and her husband adopted two war orphans from Liberia.
I got home and checked out her website; and turns out homegirl was on Oprah!
Aka she is legit.
1. Loves Jesus
2. Owns a Chick-fil-a
3. Adopted two orphans
4. Was on Oprah
Aka I want to be her apprentice.
Her story was amazing- and her message was both challenging and encouraging. If you want to read a great story about how God works in awesome, amazing, mind-blowing ways, even through us small little humans, look up her story. Here is the link again. :)
The rest of the day has been spent reading, skyping with Texas Lauren (hey girl!) and going for a run in the heeeaaatt. Whhheww. Half marathon here I (slowly) come.
Love y'all!
Lizanne
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
Psalm 143:8

Sounds like a great weekend! I really love your wall wine rack and your bookshelf! Both of those look so great, and I'm sure they were much cheaper than at a store! I bet your place is so cute! :)
