A list.

Hi friends! Sorry I've been away for awhile. 

I finished up exams and zipped home as soon as I could on Friday morning. 

It's been a busy last few days, so I'll try to fill you in.

I got me some Christmas gel nails the other day with my mom. 

This was a brave move for me, as I am typically a no or "natural" polish type girl.

I think my late grandmother, DeAlvah, would be quite proud of my move.

The other night, I went through some old photos and found this one of her at my first birthday. 

What a lady in her red nails and pearls. And what a chunky child. 

I hope this feature passes on to my future offspring. Let's be honest, babies really aren't that cute unless they come with arm rolls.

...and double chins.

Speaking of arm rolls and double chins that carry into adulthood, 
I joined the local gym earlier this week.

By "joined", I mean that the sweet manager gave me a free one-month pass.

Bless her, what a day-maker.
I went to the crossfit class this morning and had to make sure my legs were still down there.
I'm used to doing crossfit with my man, being done in twenty minutes, and going to get froyo.

My mom and I have been working a lot on wedding things, and it's been SO fun!

This weekend we had my first dress fitting (squeal!) and have now been working on crafts.

We've also been making lists of things for Pops to build for the cause.

Here is the planner extraordinaire, with a sharp eye for all things rustic, at our fave, Hobby Lobby.
We didn't buy the frame, just gathered some inspiration.

So thankful for this fun time together!

My friend Gracie and her mom had a Christmas shower for us! 

This cutie below was a great addition to the guest list.
