Hey y'all!
The MPRE is over! And it's gameday!
So, here's a recipe that I'm making tonight and one that my family and I love to eat.
Baked Brie
1 wheel of brie cheese
1 regular-sized package of crescent rolls
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup pecans
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup bourbon (optional, kinda)
1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 350
Open the crescent rolls and push the triangles together to form into two squares
Mix together the cranberries, pecans, honey, and bourbon
Place one square on a baking sheet and place the wheel of brie on top
Pour half of the pecan-honey mixture on top of the brie
Place the other square of the crescents on top of the cheese and press the edges of the squares together
Brush the egg on top of the crescent and bake for 20 minutes
Take out of oven, and top with pecan-honey mixture and bake for another 5 minutes
Serve with crackers and apple slices
Enjoy and Go Tigers!
