"Waiting! Yes patiently waiting!
Till next steps made plain will be;
To hear, with the inner hearing,
The Voice that will call for me.

Waiting! Yes, hopefully waiting!
With hope that need not grow dim;
The Master is pledged to guide me,
And my eyes are unto Him.

Waiting! Yes, expectantly waiting!
Perhaps it may be today
The master will quickly open
The gate to my future way.

Waiting! Yes, waiting! Still waiting!
I know, though I've waited long,
That, while He withholds His purpose,
His waiting cannot be wrong.

Waiting! Yes waiting! Still waiting!
The Master will not be late:
Since He knows that I am waiting
For Him to unlatch the gate."

Psalm 1:3a
"He is like a tree planted by streams of water
that yields fruit in its season...."

Learning a lot during this waiting season!

If I'm honest, it's kind of tough for a type-A to be put in a "Congrats, you graduated law school! Reward? A long few months of studying, hoping to pass the bar exam, waiting for the right job to come along" season. A doer in waiting becomes antsy.

Yet, the "to do" right now is surrender, to run after HIS heart, not my agenda.

(oh, and to study, without complaining. keep me accountable, will ya?)

Tough tough tough to learn, y'all, yet a really great place to be.

Holding tight to
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.." (Phil 1:6)

Clinging to
"It is the Lord who goes before you...." (Deut. 31:8)

Praying for all of my fellow waiting (and fellow stubborn) season-ers! I love ya and believe in you-

Pic from Pinterest, duh.
