A joyful heart is good medicine.

Proverbs 17:22 reads:
"A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

On this Monday, I need to make sure my bones aren't getting dried out. :)

Ain't nobody got time fo dat!

Friday nights spent at the campground.
Hot dogs, a fire, friends, and this beauty. Joy.

Breakfast date with my neighbor.
Small town people watching, fun conversation, and friendship.
Oh, and sweet tea. Joy.

Random weeknight date with my man.
Peach milkshakes, a sunset, the river, and hand holding (when no one was looking). Joy.

A new monogrammed beach bag,
packed with newly-added and never before seen objects...

But, if you must study on a Saturday,
a warm spot in the sun makes it 85% less dreadful. Joy.

An hour-long Sunday drive that puts you in this spot.
To a spot you've missed for weeks, making it that more special. Joy.

And then you get to go across the street to the other place you've missed.
And your skinny frapp is FO FREE! Joy.

Thanking him for the small joys he plants, even on a seemingly mundane Monday!
