This has been a wonderful, but fast-moving, summer!
I cannot believe it is coming to an end.
We've enjoyed exploring and getting to know more about the Sooner State.
We've made some wonderful new friends and had the chance to visit with old friends as well.
I traveled home to celebrate my cousin's engagement,
and to be sworn in to the South Carolina Bar (Praise!)
Then we both traveled home to celebrate the wedding of some great friends.
(see also: hanging around a man in mess dress for any extended period of time will indeed lead to pregnancy. watch out! ;))
We saved up and took a "babymoon" to San Diego over the 4th of July weekend.
It was the most relaxing and fun time, and I'm so thankful for it (more photos in this post).
Both our parents were able to pay us visits which was just SO SO good.
I'm so thankful that they're willing to travel miles from home and learn new places with us.
One of us has been nesting.
The other has been the faithful (kind, good looking, skilled) workhorse. Sigh.
(Hopefully more house updates, soon! It's looking SO good!)
And now, two of us are attempting to get settled with new jobs at work and the start of a new season. While one is kicking around the belly and the other just wants to run around and (literally) soak up all that summer has to offer.
Here's to taking a breath over the next few weeks, and praying for God to give us wisdom as we navigate a new phase. I'm so grateful for how he has lead us and provided for us so far, and I can't wait to see what else he has in store!
